Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Paediatric Speech Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children on language development, communication, and AAC (Augmentative Alternative Communication) techniques.
About the Role
* Deliver tailored interventions in the community and/or clinic settings
* Plan, implement, and evaluate assessments and therapy programs for children
* Collaborate with families, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams to develop effective support plans
* Provide education and support to families, schools, and communities on child language development and communication strategies
Key Responsibilities
* Work closely with children to identify their strengths and areas of need in communication and language development
* Develop and deliver individualized therapy plans that cater to each child's unique needs
* Maintain accurate records of client progress and program evaluations
* Communicate effectively with parents, educators, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination
Requirements
* Current SPA membership (unrestricted)
* Valid working rights
* Current driver's licence (unrestricted)
* National Police Clearance
* NDIS Screening
* WWCC (or willing to obtain)
