Fortescue are seeking experienced
Refrigeration Technicians
to join our infrastructure services team on a fulltime basis. This is a great opportunity to join a team of qualified tradespersons, responsible for maintaining and repairing Fortescue's non-processing infrastructure.
Work Location:
Across all Fortescue Pilbara Operations - predominately Port Hedland
Roster:
14D14R – FIFO ex Perth
*Key Responsibilities*
* Deliver safe, high-quality planned and reactive maintenance of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning assets
* Maintain assets accros Fortescues site and camp facilities - including camps, offices, workshops, labratories, fuel storage facilities and waste/potable water treatment plants
Qualifications And Experience
* Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade (Refrigeration/Air Conditioning) - dual traded Electricians will also be highly regarded
* Current West Australian Electrical License
* Senior first aid / CPR
* Current Refrigerant Handling License
* Previous fault finding and repair experience on air conditioning split systems, closed-circuit water chillers, ice machines etc
* Effective communication & interpersonal skills, including report writing
* Ability to time manage, organise & prioritise workload
* Flexibility to work across a wide range of refrigeration disciplines
* Competent in reading technical manuals/plans/schematics
* Sound problem solving skills
* WA Class C Driver's Licence
