Contract Management Lead for Global Mining Company - Strategic Role
This global gold mining company has recently set up a new team to specifically extract value and maximise opportunities across their supply contracts.
As such they are now looking to recruit a brand-new role for a Contract Management Lead.
The main objectives of the role will be:
- Achieve full value extraction from established contracts
- Ensure compliance to terms of contracts where material value can be extracted
- Performance management by owners and develop a site dashboard rating by owner
- Guide and train Operational staff on commercials and better outcomes
- Dispute management - compliance to terms, warranty claims, dispute letter issue, negotiation and settlement
- Regularised tracking and claiming of rebates and tracking of value
- Extraction of Supplier created value from terms in contract and initiatives generated
- Provide feedback to Procurement Leads - including the structure of contract, price, issues, KPIs etc to improve the contract and outcomes.
Experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with proven experience in stakeholder management
- Excellent analytical skills
- Highly developed problem-solving and negotiation skills with the ability to identify issues and resolve them effectively
- Ability to work both autonomously and in a collaborative team environment, showing initiative, attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks.
- Experience in using database and/or CRMs.
This role is paying around $750 per day, but this could be negotiable depending on previous experience. It also offers a good level of autonomy and working from home arrangements.
