About the Role
Atherton is seeking an experienced Service Coordinator and Administrative Assistant to join our head office team in Alphington for a 12-month parental leave cover.
Reporting to the National Service Operations Manager, this full-time role is responsible for the coordination of service delivery through strong customer communication, forward planning, and effective administrative support.
We are looking for someone with proven coordination and administration experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and demonstrates exceptional attention to detail. The role requires the ability to follow established processes while seeking opportunities for continual improvement.
The organisation works on a 9 working day fortnight providing the group with a healthy work life balance as well as a work from home day each fortnight once initial training is completed.
Key Responsibilities
As the Service Coordinator and Administrative Assistant, you will:
* Coordinate works and associated requirements for a team of service technicians
* Create and manage work orders and purchase orders
* Schedule all work types through effective calendar management
* Arrange travel, accommodation, and car hire for technicians
* Manage inventory and action related requirements
* Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth service delivery
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
* Minimum 2 years' experience in administration or service coordination (qualification desirable)
* Strong computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel)
* Excellent time management and task prioritisation skills
* Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
* Sound decision-making skills and the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively
* Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
