About The Role:
We are looking for experienced Disability Support Workers in Logan and Greenbank with knowledge and understanding around complex behaviours in young people. This role will focus on supporting our clients emotionally, socially and physically. You will work collaboratively with the operations team to deliver high-quality support, assisting service users in maintaining their well-being, achieving, personal goals, and developing life skills while fostering community and social connections. The responsibilities include providing personal care such as showering, dressing, grooming, and medication assistance, as well as offering domestic support with cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation. You will also provide social support and transportation for activities, shopping, and appointments, assist with the use of mobility and personal equipment, and support individuals with complex or challenging needs.
Logan Shifts:
10am - 2pm Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday
2pm - 10pm every second Thursday
Greenbank Shifts:
2 weekday shifts per week (flexible), 8am - 2pm
8am - 2pm every second weekend.

Qualifications / Requirements:
* Certificate III in Individual Support or Cert IV in Disability, or equivalent is required.
* Minimum 1-2 years experience in disability support work required
* Experience within residential care for youth is desirable
* Demonstrated experience with challenging and complex behaviours
* Current Blue Card and Yellow Card
* NDIS Worker Orientation Module
* Current Australian driver's license, registration and comprehensive insurance
* Current First Aid and CPR, or willingness to obtain
* Willingness to provide the required licences, certifications and e-learning prior to commencement
