Integrated Industrial are seeking a trustworthy and detail-oriented Admin and Payroll Assistant to join our team in Kewdale. In this role, you'll support the smooth running of daily administrative functions and supporting the senior leadership team while ensuring payroll is processed accurately and confidentially. The Position

The Admin and Payroll Assistant plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of administrative functions and the accurate processing of payroll. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organisational skills and a solid understanding of payroll systems and compliance regulations. The role includes performing an equal amount of secondary duties as allocated by the Senior Leadership Team.

Duties Include:

Administrative Support:

* Office Management: Handle general office duties, including managing correspondence, scheduling appointments, and maintaining office supplies.
* Document Preparation: Assist in the preparation and formatting of reports, presentations, and other business documents.
* Sales Reporting: Preparing reports to assist the sales manager and sales department with KPI's and client account maintenance.
* Record Keeping: Maintain and update employee files, ensuring all records are accurate and compliant with legal requirements.
* Communication: Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth operations.
* Communications and Event Planning: Coordinate the planning of company events and communications to the wider team.
* Board Reporting: coordinating with heads of departments to ensure timely deliverance of data for board reports.
* Senior Leadership Team Support: Performing an equal amount of secondary duties as allocated by the Senior Leadership Team.

Payroll/HR:

* Data Entry: Input employee hours, overtime, and leave entitlements into the payroll system.
* System Admin: Admin for our payroll system - Employment Hero. Including answering queries from employees and resolving system issues and changes.
* Payroll Calculation: Assist in calculating wages, deductions, and superannuation contributions.
* Compliance: Ensure payroll processes comply with Australian tax laws, superannuation requirements, and other statutory obligations.
* Reporting: Generate and distribute payslips and assist in the preparation of payroll reports for management.
* Employee Inquiries: Address and resolve payroll-related inquiries from employees in a timely and professional manner.
* Employment Agreements: Generate new employee contracts and ensure wages are in line with relevant awards

Skills & Qualifications

* Education: Certificate IV in Human Resources, Payroll, or a related field is desirable.
* Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years' experience in administrative and payroll functions.
* Technical Skills: Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
* Knowledge: Understanding of Australian payroll legislation, including Fair Work Act, PAYG, and superannuation requirements.
* Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
* Confidentiality: Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity.

Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Excel is essential, along with a solid understanding of payroll legislation and compliance requirements.
