The practice is located within a brand new shopping centre and features nine consulting rooms with plans in place to acquire extra space and expand the procedure/treatment area.You will work alongside six GPs with special interests varying from minor surgery to cosmetics and be fully supported to practice your own. By joining this team you will be well-supported by four savvy receptionists, two RNs, and an experienced management team. With a focus on preventative health, this clinic has an active approach to care plans and health assessments, providing their patients with the best care possible.The LocationHervey Bay is often referred to as the Whale Watch Capital of the World. It has a population of approximately 63,000 residents with a mixed demographic. The city has a wonderful subtropical climate, with temperatures ranging from 14 to 23 degrees Centigrade in winter and 22 to 29 degrees Centigrade in summer. Rainfall is low and there are more fine days than other Queensland holiday centres. The practice is situated a scenic 3 ½ hours drive north of Brisbane and only 45 minutes by air from Brisbane, making Hervey Bay an easily accessible destination. Housing is affordable, and a full range of education, sporting, and cultural activities are on offer.DPA position and visa sponsorship are available. RACGP PEP-Specialist Pathway eligible international candidates (both substantially and partially comparable) and GPs holding Specialist Registration with AHPRA are eligible for this role. GPs holding General Registration with AHPRA, who have been accepted on to a fellowship pathway with either the RACGP or ACRRM are also welcome to apply.Experience in minor surgery is preferred.
