Job Title: Clinical Educator
This is a pivotal role within our healthcare institution where you will play a crucial part in the professional growth and development of all caregivers. Working closely with department managers, caregivers, and other team members, your primary responsibilities include:
* Supporting and guiding caregivers to meet their individual learning objectives and contribute to achieving departmental goals
* Collaborating with caregiver's manager to address learning gaps and develop performance improvement plans
* Working together with Department Managers, learning and development colleagues, and relevant stakeholders to support various learning activities locally
* Fostering a positive and inclusive work environment through an interprofessional approach to learning delivery, assessment, and evaluation
* Contributing to the planning, onboarding, delivery, and evaluation of Graduate Programs and Pathways to Practice Programs
* Collaborating with the L&D Coordinator to plan and supervise student placements and evaluate activities as directed
To succeed in this role, registration as a Health Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a commitment to ongoing personal and professional development are essential requirements. You should also possess experience in small group teaching and presentations, with the ability to motivate and support caregivers.
