Your new role
As a Statutory Planning Officer, you'll assess and process a range of development and subdivision applications in line with the Local Planning Scheme, council policies and legislation. You'll provide clear planning advice to applicants, internal stakeholders and the community, support statutory planning projects, undertake research, and work closely with senior planners to meet service standards and timeframes.
What you'll need to succeed
* A tertiary qualification in Urban and Regional Planning or a related discipline
* Experience assessing development applications within local government or consultancy
* Good working knowledge of statutory planning processes and planning schemes
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
