**Accounts Payable Specialist Role**
We are seeking a skilled and organized individual to join our Accounts Payable team as an Accounts Payable Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day activities associated with the transactional team, accounts payable, and EOM completion.
The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You will also have excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
In addition to your technical skills, you will bring a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Liaising with creditors on a daily/weekly basis and making necessary arrangements to pay accounts
* Input of invoices into the CAAPS system
* Ensuring invoices comply with company purchasing policy
* Receipting of invoices against approved Purchase Orders
* Setup payment batches in accordance with agreed supplier payment terms
* General ledger coding and account reconciliations
* Attending to supplier queries
* Bank Audits
* Supplier Statement reconciliation
