The Opportunity:
This role is centred around supporting customers with daily living tasks, enabling them to live independently and holistically.
* Providing support in everyday daily activities around the home
* Providing support with hygiene and personal care
* Assistance, support, and chaperoning activities outside the home environment
* Assisting with medication compliance which may include the dispensation of prescription medication
* Meal assistance which may include meal preparation
* Assistance with Hydrotherapy
* Assistance with slide transfers
Flexibility is key to this role, with varying shifts available including Saturday night sleep overs and active/inactive periods.
To be successful in this role you will have:
1. A minimum qualification of a Certificate III in Individual Support
2. At least one year experience as a Disability Support Worker
3. Drivers License, reliable vehicle and comprehensive car insurance
4. NDIS Clearance, First Aid (3 yrs), CPR (12 months) & National police clearance - or willingness to obtain
5. Manual handling certification
