About the Role
We're growing rapidly and need an experienced professional to join our team in a key end-to-end role. This is a true full-cycle position covering quoting, client briefings, design development, supplier coordination and delivery.
You'll be the primary point of contact between clients, internal teams and suppliers. With a strong eye for aesthetics and functional design, you'll help clients bring interior concepts to life while ensuring productions are delivered on time and to specification.
* Prepare detailed quotes and manage sales-related administration tasks.
* Collaborate with clients in briefing sessions and design development meetings to understand their needs and preferences.
* Apply your knowledge of design principles to source furniture, fixtures and accessories aligned with client's interior concept.
* Take ownership of projects from concept through to completion individually or as part of a collaborative team.
* Produce conceptual renders, sketches and technical documentation for manufacturing, assembly and installation.
* Liaise with suppliers and internal designers; oversee production elements to ensure quality, timeliness and cost-effectiveness.
* Be adaptable and willing to assist with day-to-day tasks as needed in a dynamic work environment.
* Travel interstate for client meetings site visits and supplier coordination. A valid driver's license is required.
Key Requirements
* Tertiary qualification in Interior Design Industrial Design or related field.
* 4-5+ years professional experience in similar roles project management interiors furniture fit-outs or manufacturing with exposure to quoting supplier coordination client liaison.
* Proven design/aesthetic sensibility with ability to produce concept sketches renders and technical documentation.
* Proficiency in design/CAD tools such as SketchUp AutoCAD Autodesk Inventor SolidWorks Adobe Illustrator or equivalent.
* Organised detail-focused capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously under tight timelines.
* Excellent interpersonal skills able to run client meetings understand client briefs present concepts and manage expectations.
* Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and materials.
* Adaptable proactive solutions-driven comfortable working both independently and in a team.
* Valid driver's license and willingness to travel interstate and locally for supplier visits client meetings.
* A portfolio showcasing built work in commercial interior or automotive environments.
