Country life foods pty ltd Experienced Chef/Cooks Wanted Nardia’s Kitchen – COUNTRY LIFE FOODS PTY LTD Location: N149 / Level 1, 200 Crown St, Wollongong NSW 2500 ABN: 71 647 758 370 Employment Type: Full-Time (38 hours per week) Salary Range: $70,000 – $80,000 + Superannuation (depending on experience) We are seeking experienced and passionate Chef/Cooks to join our kitchen team on a full-time basis. Specialising in modern Australian cuisine, the successful candidates will play a vital role in menu preparation, day-to-day kitchen operations, and maintaining high food quality standards in a fast-paced environment.
Benefits Competitive salary and superannuation Supportive and friendly team environment Opportunities for professional growth and development Stable, long-term employment in a reputable and growing venue Task & responsibilities Plan, prepare, and cook menu items in line with venue standards and recipes Assist in menu development, including seasonal and modern Australian dishes Monitor food quality, portion control, and minimise wastage Ensure compliance with food safety and WHS regulations Assist with stock ordering, rotation, and inventory management Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen at all times Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations Supervise and train kitchen staff and assist in managing kitchen operations Qualification & experience Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (Cook) or Certificate IV/Diploma (Chef) or equivalent Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in a similar role Strong knowledge of food safety and handling procedures Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and within a team Good organisational and time-management skills Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays About Company Nardia’s Kitchen, operated by COUNTRY LIFE FOODS PTY LTD, is a modern dining venue located in the heart of Wollongong.
