Social Work Industry Facilitator
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Social Work professional to fill a key role in the College of Education, Psychology and Social Work.
This position will support the National Mental Health Pathways to Practice Pilot, requiring the successful candidate to oversee and supervise the facilitation of student placements across the mental health sector.
As a Social Work Industry Facilitator, you will provide innovative and inspiring teaching to Social Work students. You will explore new partnerships to help build capacity for the increasing number of placements required by the University and the sector more broadly.
The responsibilities of this position include:
* Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders to identify, develop, and enact placement relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Collaborating with agencies and service providers in South Australia and the Northern Territory to identify challenges and design creative solutions for placement opportunities and workforce development.
* Contributing to the planning, evaluation, and student placement assessment of topics, undertaking the role of Topic Coordinator as required.
To be successful, you will have completed a PhD and/or have qualifications and equivalent professional experience in an area relevant to Social Work. The successful candidate will also hold or be eligible for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers, with a minimum of five years (FTE) of post-qualifying experience in the mental health sector.

* Experience of significant teaching and learning experience and excellence at a tertiary level, including curriculum design and field education.
* Evidence of use of learning and teaching approaches that enhance student success.
* Demonstrated experience or capability to engage with students and evaluate student placement outcomes via online learning platforms.
