Industry Superannuation Fund Administration, Financial Adviser | Adelaide and Mt Gambier | FullTime (negotiable)
We're seeking an experienced and member-centric Financial Adviser to join our growing team. In this role, you'll build strong relationships with members, provide high-quality financial advice, and support members in making informed decisions about their superannuation, retirement planning, and overall financial wellbeing.
About the Role
This is a wonderful opportunity to work with a small industry super fund where personal service is a cornerstone of our service proposition. Like all super funds, we have a growing number of members who are seeking financial advice about maximising their superannuation as part of their retirement plans, stepping into retirement, and managing in their retirement years. Such members are referred by our local teams and stakeholders, the contact centre, our website and from facilitating an annual seminar. Reporting to the Executive Manager, Financial Advice and Education, the Financial Adviser will provide a local service to our members mainly located in Mount Gambier and Adelaide. They will be working autonomously in providing financial advice and managing the entire process from initial meeting to implementation. Meetings being held in person, or via videoconference and by phone.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
* Deliver tailored, compliant financial advice to a diverse member base
* Conduct comprehensive fact-finding sessions and prepare Statement of Advice (SOA) documents
* Develop strong long-term relationships with members and the local community
* Educate members on superannuation, retirement planning, insurance, investments, and Centrelink strategies
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial regulations and industry best practices
* Work collaboratively with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure exceptional member experience
About You

Essential qualifications & experience:
* Relevant Tertiary qualification
* Meets FASEA education requirements
* Passed the FASEA Ethics Examination and RG146 compliant
* Registered on the ASIC Financial Adviser Register.
* High level of professionalism and ethical conduct
* Ability to work independently and manage a busy schedule

* Experience with Xplan
* High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
* Ability to meet strict deadlines
* Strong stakeholder management and collaborative working style
* Self-motivation and the ability to work with minimal supervision
