What does the job look like?
Linfox's Intermodal business unit have multiple casual opportunities for experienced HC Drivers join our Rail Operations team located in West Melbourne VIC. As part of this role, you will be responsible for delivering single container loads with a variety of freight from major customers.
Afternoon shift: Monday – Friday commencing at 3:30pm
Key Areas
* Deliver containerised freight both locally and throughout the region.
* Daily pre-start checks, including refuelling & maintaining truck interior.
* Ensure loads are restrained appropriately
* Communicate effectively with other drivers, supervisors & customers where needed.
* Comply with Linfox's coupling & uncoupling procedures.
* Commit to Linfox Safety Standards at all times to ensure that Vision Zero is a daily focus

* Current HC licence
* Experience delivering containerised freight throughout the Melbourne region and beyond.
* Rail terminal experience would be highly regarded.
* Strong attitude towards safety and customer satisfaction.
* History of safe work practices and excellent communication.
* Rail experience highly regarded but not essential.
