Full Job Description
A agile civil and utility infrastructure contractor delivering projects throughout Victoria. Our client provide a range of diversified construction, engineering and environmental services across a growing number of industry sectors including water, power, rail, transport, defence and private developments.
With a strong reputation and steady flow of work, our civil contractor client require a site supervisor to join their team covering the following duties:
Deliver and manage works ranging from earthworks, concrete structures, heavy lifts (crane), formwork, retaining walls, piling, drainage, conduit runs and road works
Coordinating toolbox meetings, ensuring a high level of OHS compliance
Manage crews of multi-disciplinary workers
Managing trades and subcontractors, materials procurement and close liaison with the engineers and PM's on site.
Ensure a clean and orderly work site
Interpreting engineering drawings for measurements, the selection of materials and scheduled works according to plans
Ensure major project milestones are hit within timelines
To be considered you will have:
Excellent communication skills
Possess previous track record coordinating complex civil construction sites in the local market
Experience in power terminal construction is a nice to have
Holding a civil construction qualification and hold a current Victorian drivers license
