About the Role: Our Cardiology Service operates under a multidisciplinary model, delivering integrated specialist care across the entire patient continuum. We offer a diverse range of diagnostic and procedural services for patients with suspected or established cardiac conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
* To provide high-quality cardiological care to patients with suspected or established cardiac conditions.
* To work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver integrated specialist care.
* To maintain up-to-date knowledge and skills in cardiological diagnosis and treatment.
* To adhere to professional standards and guidelines in the delivery of cardiological care.
Requirements:
* Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent qualification eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
* Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) – Specialist Cardiologist (or equivalent).
* Non-Invasive Cardiac Imaging subspecialty training with accreditation in Level 2 Adult Echocardiography as per CSANZ requirements (or equivalent).
* Evidence of active participation in a Continuing Professional Development Program (CPD).
* Evidence of current minimum echocardiography volumes demonstrating Level 2 CSANZ competency.
* Demonstrate clinical and academic research skills and experience.
