Work Health and Safety Officer
We are seeking a highly skilled Work Health and Safety professional in East Arm, Darwin for a leading organisation in the marine and remediation industry.
About the Role
This role involves overseeing all aspects of workplace health and safety across our marine operations, working closely with paint and blast teams to ensure high safety standards are maintained. Key responsibilities include conducting safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments; providing training and guidance to staff to promote a proactive safety culture; ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and company policies; collaborating with management to drive continuous improvement in safety performance.
Requirements
* 3-5 years' experience in a Work Health and Safety role.
* Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (minimum requirement).
* Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
* Current driver's licence and reliable transport.
* Experience in marine and/or remediation environments is highly regarded.
