Employment Tax Specialist
As a key contributor to our Employment Tax team, you will work collaboratively with experts to develop your specialist tax advisory skills. Your focus will be on global mobility arrangements, FBT, payroll tax, superannuation, employee share schemes, remuneration planning, and salary sacrifice arrangements for national clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide consultative services on FBT, Payroll Tax, Superannuation, ESS, PAYG, and employee versus contractor matters, including audits and cross-border issues.
* Develop and implement international assignment consulting and compliance strategies across various clients and matters.
* Prepare FBT returns using specialized software.
* Review and develop FBT policies and procedures for employers.
* Prepare and review payroll tax returns.
* Conduct comprehensive reviews of employers' employment tax obligations.
* Design and implement share plans for senior executives and other levels.
* Collaborate with data and technology experts to design automated tools.
* Mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
* Experience in a similar or related role.
* Demonstrated ability to build relationships and work independently.
* Strong research and legal interpretation skills.
* Proactive approach to client relationships and service delivery.
* Solid written and verbal communication skills.
* Relevant degree qualification, majoring in Accounting, Tax, Commerce, Economics, Finance, or Law.
