About the role
As a Skilled Labourer / Driver, you will play a crucial role in the production of high-quality timber products as well as being on the road in modern vehicles around half the week. This full-time position is based in Kirrawee, NSW, and offers an exciting opportunity to work with a reputable and growing company in the local manufacturing industry.
What you'll be doing
* Assisting in the assembly and finishing of timber components
* Greater Sydney deliveries
* Performing quality checks and making adjustments to ensure products meet required standards
* Maintaining a clean and organised work environment, following all safety protocols
* Operating various woodworking machines to cut, shape, and finish timber products to precise specifications
* Working closely with the factory foreman to ensure production deadlines are hit
What we're looking for
* Demonstrated experience as a skilled labourer who has had some background using woodworking tools
* Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings
* Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
* Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to troubleshoot issues and find efficient solutions
* Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with the production team
* Knowledge of workplace health and safety practices

Background
* Experience in a manufacturing business or production facility
* Drivers licence (truck licence preferable but not necessary)
* Any partial trade background or previous technical course welcomed but not necessary
* Good health and ability to lift up to 20kgs
