The Glennie School, located in Toowoomba, Queensland, is an Anglican day and boarding school for girls from Kindergarten to Year 12 with boarding for students from Year 5. About The Role
We are recruiting for Registered Nurses to add to our casual pool to provide professional and efficient health care to all Glennie School students in our Health Centre. You will report to the Health Centre Manager.
You Will
* Deliver quality assessment, treatment and referral of ill and injured students in a timely fashion
* Provide day to day care for all boarding students and assist with the care of day students until their parents can take responsibility for health care
* Respond to staff and student requests for assistance
* Provide emergency first aid to members of the Glennie Community or to visitors to the School
* Have availability term-time weekdays sometimes at short notice to cover illness and leave.
About You
* Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
* Experience in working with children in a school, adolescent/child health, general practice, and/or mental health highly regarded.
* Able to engage and work with a range of stakeholders, particularly young people and their parents.
* An ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* First Aid Certificate with CPR
