**Cafe Manager**

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Cafe Manager to lead our bustling cafe with enthusiasm and precision. As the Cafe Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations, maintaining a welcoming environment, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences. Your leadership skills, attention to detail, and passion for hospitality will be instrumental in driving the success of our establishment.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Operational Excellence**: Supervise and coordinate all aspects of cafe operations, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- **Customer Engagement**: Foster a positive customer-centric environment by providing exceptional service and addressing customer concerns effectively.
- **Team Leadership**: Recruit, train, and motivate cafe staff, ensuring they deliver consistent service and uphold company policies.
- **Financial Management**: Monitor sales, expenses, and budgets to optimize profitability while controlling costs. Prepare reports and forecasts as required.
- **Inventory Control**: Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure proper stock rotation to minimize wastage and maintain product freshness.
- **Compliance**: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations, as well as licensing requirements.
- **Menu Development**: Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and refine menu offerings based on customer preferences and market trends.
- **Marketing Initiatives**: Contribute ideas for promotional events, partnerships, and marketing strategies to attract and retain customers.
- **Problem Solving**: Address operational issues, customer complaints, and staff challenges in a timely and effective manner.
- **Relationship Building**: Cultivate positive relationships with suppliers, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth business operations.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in a cafe or hospitality management role.
- Barista experience.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in managing budgets and financial aspects of a business.
- Understanding of food safety regulations and health standards.
- Creative mindset for menu development and marketing ideas.
- Problem-solving aptitude and ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Flexibility to work weekends, and holidays as needed.
