We are currently seeking a Sales Consultant to join our Higher Education sales team at Cengage. 
In this role, you will contribute to sales and promote award-winning products to Vocational Education and Training (VET) accounts in your allocated territory. 
We predict growth in our VET business and are investing accordingly. 
As a valuable member of our sales team, you will play a crucial role in establishing and nurturing strong customer relationships, recognizing sales opportunities, and delivering exceptional customer service.

The position offers a generous on-target incentive plan. 
A company car or car allowance is also included.

Responsibilities 
Engage VET staff within your allocated territory, to promote and sell Cengage products and solutions 
Identify and prospect new customers 
Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline 
Present product information and benefits to customers 
Negotiate and close deals 
Ensure CRM is updated regularly and appropriately with all interactions, territory records, and sales 
Some travel required, but you will predominantly work from home 
Qualifications & Skills 
Proven experience in sales, preferably within the educational sector 
Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience will also be considered 
Solid communication and interpersonal skills 
Ability to work independently 
Excellent negotiation and closing skills 
Proactive and dedicated to delivering high-quality outcomes 
Ability to build and maintain customer relationships 
Proficient in using Salesforce CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
