About the role
As a result of our success and growth we are now seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Flashbutt Welder Operators to join our long-term rail maintenance projects based out of Port Hedland, WA.
This role is a full time position where you will be working on a 2 : 1 (14 days on / 7 days off) FIFO Roster. These roles are well-suited to those with a high regard for safety and quality, and the demonstrated ability to operate and maintain machinery.
Key Responsibilities
* Working in rail environment safely
* Ability to work alongside team members with various skills
* Maintenance on plant machinery
* Good oral and written communication with knowledge of day to day works under the guidance of the Supervisor
* Follow safety procedures and direction as required
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment
* Perform general track maintenance as required
About You
* 2 years Flashbutt Welding experience
* Nationally accredited FBW certification
* Certificate II in Rail Infrastructure
* Certificate III in Rail Infrastructure
* Experience working within the Rail industry
* A proactive and well-informed approach to working safely
* Drivers Licence
* HR Licence
* White Card
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
