Job Title: Program Manager
As a skilled Program Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall management and execution of projects. Your authority extends to acting on behalf of the contract, ensuring that all specifications are met.
This role involves performing managerial duties necessary for the successful performance of the program. You will provide direction and guidance to Managers within the contract and serve as the Government's primary point of contact for day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the development, implementation, and application of O&M and management control procedures for the program.
2. Maintain an accurate listing of Key Personnel with contact information and provide it to the COR as changes occur.
3. Designate an individual authorized to act in your absence.
4. Establish policies and procedures for performance and control of contract-related management functions.
Additional responsibilities include:
* Directing / monitoring the development of project operating procedures.
* Ensuring maintenance and operations of Government systems, infrastructure, and other services.
* Monitoring the performance of the project and budget.
* Correcting discrepant conditions and minimizing their impact.
Requirements:
Education / Certifications:
A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Science, Business Administration, or Mathematics is required, along with three years of specialized experience. Alternatively, an associate's degree plus seven years of experience or a major certification plus seven years of experience are acceptable.
You must also possess baseline certifications such as IAM III (CISM, CISSP, GSLC, CCISO), and specialized certifications including Project Management Professional (PMP) and ITIL Foundation.
Experience:
At least five years of experience with military communications systems is required, including at least three years as a supervisor or project manager. Fluency in government and corporate communications media is essential, as well as proficiency in MS Office products, MS Project, and proposal writing.
Self-motivation and the ability to provide vision to the team are crucial. Experience working with government customers and deploying corporate values in support of the US military mission is highly valued.
Supervisory / Budget Responsibilities:
As a technical-based supervisor, you will be responsible for managing personnel and overseeing budgetary aspects.
