Job Title: Night Auditor

An exciting opportunity exists for an energetic and detail-oriented individual to join our Front Office team as a Night Auditor.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of overnight services, including auditing and reconciling daily financial transactions, ensuring all accounts are balanced and align with established policies and procedures.

In addition to this role, the successful candidate will assist with room service orders and deliveries, Concierge services, and provide exceptional guest services to enhance front desk operations.

This is a dynamic role working on a rotating night shift roster from 11pm – 7am.


Key Responsibilities:

* Audit and Reconciliation: Complete thorough audits of all daily revenue postings, making necessary adjustments to ensure accuracy of reporting.
* Support to Front Office Team: Provide support to the Front Office team and other departments when required.
* Reservation Details: Ensure that reservation details for in-house guests are recorded correctly, including room rates, dates of stay, and authority to charge.
* Paperwork and Reporting: Collate paperwork for departures, including credit card and company charges to be forwarded to the Accounts department.
* Hotel Operations: Ensure the safety and security of the property and the smooth and efficient running of the Hotel's overnight operation.
* Management Reports: Prepare and distribute relevant reports, maintaining hotel weekly and monthly statistics.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

* Previous Experience: Previous experience using Opera or similar Property Management Systems (PMS).
* Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
* Computer Literacy: Strong financial and analytical skills with a high level of computer literacy.
* Initiative and Problem-Solving: A willingness to use initiative and strong problem-solving skills.
* Security and Emergency Procedures: Knowledge of security and emergency procedures and ability to manage these if required.
