We are seeking an exceptional research leader to serve as Director of AIPCA.
This is a senior academic position responsible for driving the Institute's strategic vision, leading high impact research programs and fostering strong partnerships across academia, government and industry.
As Director, you will: Provide visionary leadership and operational management of AIPCA
Lead major research projects and secure competitive funding
Publish in leading international journals and present at global conferences
Build collaborative relationships with industry and external stakeholders
Supervise Higher by Research (HDR) students and mentor emerging researchers
Represent AIPCA on School and University committees, contributing to strategic initiatives
Ensure compliance with Research Centre policies and performance targets.
Some of your duties will include: Drive internationally distinguished research and scholarship
Oversee financial, administrative, and personnel functions of AIPCA
Lead applied research, consultancy, and evaluation activities aligned with AIPCA's mission
Promote interdisciplinary engagement and knowledge translation into policy and practice
Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous development within the Institute.
Skills & Experience: A Ph D and substantial research experience in areas relevant to AIPCA.
A distinguished record of internationally recognised research with demonstrated impact.
Proven success in securing competitive research funding and managing large-scale projects.
Extensive experience in consultancy and applied health services research/evaluation.
Strong leadership skills with a track record of building high-performing research teams.
Ability to mentor early career researchers and supervise HDR students to completion.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build robust relationships across academia and industry.
