We currently have an opportunity to join our Mid Northern Coast Region team based in Port Macquarie.
About the role
At UPA our Registered Nurses play a key role in ensuring our clients are cared for physically, emotionally and spiritually, responding to their varied needs with empathy and respect. We are seeking somebody to provide clinical leadership, case management, and holistic care to our clients, including caring for their physical and mental wellbeing. A strong emphasis on preventative care measures, and a wellness and reablement approach, along with clinical insights in managing risk will support our clients to achieve their goals and feel safe in their home.
What you will need
* Full unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
* Experience in Aged Care preferred
* Familiar with the Aged Care Act 1997
* Knowledge and demonstrated commitment to Quality and Aged Care Standards
* Familiar with Aged Care Funding
* Affinity and experience (or willingness to gain experience) working with residents with dementia
* Excellent communication and clinical problem-solving skills
* Excellent Team player who is highly motivated
* Skills in Microsoft Office
* Knowledge of Work Health and Safety
* A requirement to meet National Accreditation competency – CPD hours of 20 minimum yearly standards.
