About the Role
The Australian Hydrographic Office (AHO) is seeking Maritime Geospatial Analysts who are passionate about marine and geospatial sciences, shipping and automation. In this role you will ingest, manage and validate marine geospatial data and produce navigational products and services that maintain safe trading routes and directly contribute to Australia's maritime interests.
You will work with a range of geospatial software and systems to prepare and deliver reliable and timely products to mariners, combining an exceptional and meaningful career with a highly desirable coastal lifestyle and access to excellent workplace conditions.
This position is eligible for a Building Defence Capability Payment (BDCP), a premium above the base salary under the Defence Enterprise Collective Agreement (DECA) for positions critical to Defence capability.

In AHO, a national authority for nautical charts and related products and services, you will collaborate with subject‑matter experts in marine data. Through rigorous validation, integration and quality control processes, we deliver high‑quality navigational products and web‑services following defined workflows and quality management systems.
