Western Australian Specialty Alloys (WASA) is an international market leader in the production of superalloys for forging and ring rolling applications for a range of aerospace, power generation and oil & gas applications. We are currently seeking a Part-Time Administration Officer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is organised, proactive, and enjoys supporting a busy office environment. This role involves working 30 hours per week and requires someone who is prepared to work within our core values of Courage, Ownership, Collaboration, Integrity, and Innovate.
About the Role
The key objective of this role is the input and maintenance of all Quality System-related documents, along with general administrative duties. This includes supporting the document management system and providing timely clerical services to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Essential Functions
Provide efficient and timely clerical and administrative support across the business. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Preparing and generating documents
* Maintaining company records and registers
* Providing front desk support, including answering incoming calls and greeting visitors
* Weekly stationery ordering
* Assisting with monthly social lunches
* Monthly kitchen supply ordering
* Daily mail collection from the gate mailbox and PO Box
* Adhere to company policies and procedures including PCC Code of Conduct, Quality and Safety Cardinal Rules
* Other duties within skills, knowledge and abilities as required by management.
Qualifications
This position requires:
* Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Publisher
* High school diploma (essential); Certificate in Office Administration (desirable)
* Strong time management skills
* Adaptability to show initiative to changing priorities.
* High level of computer literacy
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Strong organizational skills
* Must have current police clearance.
* Be able to pass a pre-employment medical.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
