About the Role
A sales professional is required to drive growth in industrial and technical gases by developing strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Develop relationships with prospects and customers to grow revenue streams.
* Coordinate customer training when necessary.
* Investigate and resolve customer issues on all levels, providing technical and practical assistance where needed.
* Maintain accurate customer portfolios.
* Develop relationships at both business and technical levels within customer and industry organizations.
* Ensure all customers have current standard contracts.
* Travel extensively in assigned territories, visiting prospective and existing customers.
* Manage contract compliance.
* Participate in other work and projects as required from time to time.
* Gather market information to support informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
This role involves a combination of outbound sales, finding and developing opportunities for Air Liquide's products and services, and account management. The Sales Representative will build strong relationships with current and prospective customers.
The successful candidate will:
* Be responsible for sales growth in industrial and technical gases.
* Deliver a range of products and services that meet customer needs.
* Maximize the impact of the customers' processes.
* Build strong partnerships with existing customers.
* Support the expansion of Air Liquide's business in Automation & Fabrication Gases in North Queensland Regions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Relevant tertiary or trade qualification (business or related discipline).
* Proven ability to close sales and effective negotiation skills.
* Collaborative mindset and ability to operate within a multi-line reporting framework.
* High-level interpersonal and influencing skills.
* Up to 3 years experience in a similar capacity.
* Computer literacy and ability to proficiently use Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.
* Experience in Google Suites (advantageous).
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present and communicate effectively.
* Innovative thinking and ability to influence leadership.
* Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new environments.
* Can-do attitude with initiative to drive change and take ownership of projects.
