Administrative Officer - Paediatric Admissions Job Description
This role is an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Administrative Officer – Paediatric Admissions, where you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support.
About the Opportunity
* We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to manage enquiries, both face-to-face and over the telephone, redirecting or actioning as appropriate.
* The successful candidate will have experience in operating the telephone system and overhead communication system, coordinating incoming and outgoing phone calls (including paging) for staff and clients.
* The role also involves message management, ensuring accuracy and timely distribution of messages.
* You will work collaboratively with colleagues and management to resolve complex enquiries and customer complaints, demonstrating a high level of interpersonal skills and telephone manners.
About You
* To be successful in this role, you will have initiative, resourcefulness, and the ability to work under limited direction with competing priorities in an adverse, high workflow environment.
* You will set priorities, work to deadlines, and perform duties effectively with a high level of accuracy.
* Demonstrated experience in providing efficient front-line customer-focused service is essential.
* You must be able to work independently and within a team environment, confidently contributing to team goals and outcomes.
* A knowledge of medical terminology is desirable.
