Sandringham Emergency provides a 24 hour, 7 days a week service to the Bayside community for all emergencies or when a person becomes suddenly unwell or is injured. We assess and manage over 40,000 patients a year on average, 30% of them children. Sandringham Emergency is equipped to see all paediatric and adult emergencies for assessment and stabilisation. Patients can be admitted to Sandringham Hospital or may be transferred to another hospital as required. Our sensational inter-disciplinary team works together to provide timely, quality care.The RoleAs a clinical nurse, your practice will lead to excellence in emergency patient care. You understand the importance of establishing a relationship between the patient and yourself in order to achieve the best possible outcomes for your patients. As a nurse, you are accountable for establishing and evaluating the patient’s plan of care in partnership with the patient, their carers and other members of the health care team.
