About Us
For 85 years, Gowrie Victoria has been at the forefront of early learning. We are a purpose-driven, not-for-profit organisation with a reputation for high-quality early childhood education and care. We champion excellence and implement a play-based, emergent curriculum across our nine early learning services in Victoria.
We are known as a place for demonstration, where generations of teachers and educators have learnt and developed their practice. We build the capability of thousands of leaders, teachers, and educators each year through accredited training, blended learning, coaching & mentoring programs, and networking events.
The opportunity
Gowrie has been selected at the provisional provider of a new early learning service in Wyndham Vale as part of the Victorian Government's Kindergarten on School Sites program. Co-located with Manor Lakes P-12 College, our new service will provide free sessional kindergarten for 3–4-year-olds in 2026. This expansion allows us to provide high-quality early learning to more children and families in the Wyndham community and to build strong and lasting relationships with children, families, schools, and the local early childhood community.
We're looking for Early Childhood Teachers (ECTs) to join our team in ensuring the success of these new services. As an experienced ECT with full VIT registration, you'll bring a well-developed knowledge of the NQF and approved Early Learning Frameworks and a passion for ongoing learning and growth in your teaching practice. You'll lead, coach, and inspire a small team of educators in developing and implementing a high-quality pedagogical program by role modelling professional practice reflective of Gowrie Victoria's purpose, philosophy, and values.
At Gowrie, our strength is our culture. It is built on a foundation of genuine curiosity. We encourage our people to ask questions, be reflective and bring their authentic selves to work.
