We are seeking a highly skilled trade cook/chef to join our team. The successful applicant will be responsible for producing high-quality and wholesome food for various audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and cook meals that meet the dietary needs of our patients and residents.
* Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment at all times.
* Work collaboratively with the Food Services Team Leader and other staff members to achieve excellent service standards.
* Develop and implement menus that cater to diverse tastes and requirements.
Requirements:
* Relevant trade qualification (e.g., Certificate III in Commercial Cooking).
* Experience working in a similar role, preferably in a hospital or aged care setting.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues and clients.
* Ability to work across a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
