The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and commercially driven Senior Sales Manager to lead and grow our sales across FMCG retail, industrial, and foodservice channels.
Your core focus will be direct customer management within the edible oils, bakery shortenings, and food ingredients categories. \
You will be responsible for driving revenue growth both existing and new, building strong customer partnerships, overseeing logistics & distribution as well as financial reporting.
This is a hands on role, however you will also work with a small cross functional team that is extremely motivated with a core focus on product & category innovation, that aligns with the company brand vision & values.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute channel sales strategies across major grocery retailers (e.g. Woolworths, Coles, Aldi, Costco), industrial, and foodservice customers.
- Develop and lead negotiations & within the editable oil industrial channel
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, delivering account growth and new business opportunities.
- Lead commercial contract negotiations, trading terms, promotional planning, and joint business planning with key accounts.
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and product innovation teams to bring new products to market.
- Analyse sales budgets, data, forecasts, and market insights to identify trends and opportunities.
- Represent Valuable Earth Oils as a trusted category and brand partner.
- Contribute to strategic planning as part of the leadership team during this exciting growth phase.
About You
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in sales or account management within FMCG
- Proven success managing major grocery and/or foodservice accounts.
- Strong network within the food manufacturing sector ideally bakery, food service or ingredients sectors
- Strong commercial acumen, relationship, negotiation & communication skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally and thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Hands on, independent and a self-starter
- Australian work authorisation required
- Passion for food, innovation, and sustainable Australian manufacturing processes

- Salary: $120,000 – $125,000 + Super (negotiable) + Bonus
