About the role
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Motor Mechanic to join our team at GCS AUTOCARE GROVEDALE'. As a full-time Motor Mechanic, you will be responsible for providing high-quality automotive repair and maintenance services to our valued customers in the Grovedale VIC 3216 area.
What you'll be doing
* Diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicle faults and issues
* Carrying out scheduled maintenance and servicing on vehicles
* Performing repairs and replacements on various vehicle components, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems
* Test driving vehicles to ensure all repairs and maintenance have been completed to a high standard
* Providing excellent customer service and communicating effectively with clients
* Adhering to all safety procedures and maintaining a clean and organized work environment
What we're looking for
* Minimum of 3 years' experience as a qualified Motor Mechanic
* Strong technical knowledge and skills in vehicle diagnostics, repair, and maintenance
* Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and specialized automotive equipment
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
* Good communication and customer service skills
* Dedication to providing high-quality work and ensuring customer satisfaction
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* A valid driver's licence and your own reliable transportation
