We’re a remote-first team with a strong engineering base in Australia, and we’re passionate about building technology that makes water management smarter, more efficient, and more sustainable.

We’re Currently Hiring For Two Senior Engineering Roles:
- Front End Engineer (Apps & Web)
- Back End Engineer
What You’ll Do:
As a Senior Engineer, you will:
- Design & Build: Architect, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable software systems.
- Deliver clean, testable, and maintainable code that delights customers.
- Ensure software meets performance, quality, and security standards.
AI-Enhanced Development:
- Treat AI coding assistants as a supporting tool to accelerate and enhance your work — not as a replacement for engineering judgment.
- Use AI to explore alternative solutions, improve productivity, and uncover blind spots.
- Stay curious and inquisitive: question why AI suggests a particular approach and dig deeper to understand the underlying principles.
- Critically evaluate AI output for correctness, security, and performance before integrating it.
Collaboration & Leadership:
- Pair program with teammates (and sometimes AI) to deliver robust, high-quality outcomes.
- Communicate trade-offs and technical decisions with clarity across the business.
- Contribute to a culture of curiosity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Technical Requirements:
Front End Engineer:
- Proficiency in React (React Native a plus).
- TypeScript / modern JavaScript
- Familiarity with state management solutions (e.g., Redux, Zustand, MobX).
- Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library).
- Ability to evaluate and optimize performance impacts of design decisions.
- Solid skills in reading and troubleshooting code.
Back End Engineer:
- Familiarity with at least 3 AWS technologies:
- Firehose, EKS, ECR, CodeArtifact, IoT, Lambda.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience (Terraform or CloudFormation).
- Proficiency in modern Python: async, type hints, Poetry, and standard libraries.
- Experience in at least one of:
- Docker, Docker Compose, or Kubernetes.

The salary for this opportunity ranges from $135,000 to $165,000 AUD
The Company complies with all federal/local/state regulations in regard to pay. The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Compensation offered to the successful candidate will be determined by qualifications, prior experience, other job-related factors, and geographic location.
