We are on the lookout for a dedicated, self motivated and conscientious MR Driver. As our Driver, you will play a crucial role in maintaining relationships with our customers and looking after our equipment.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Bendigo, VIC.
The MR Driver will be responsible for delivering our fencing products safely & efficiently whilst building and maintaining positive relations with our customers and their representatives.
Key day-to-day tasks include operating a medium rigid truck on both regional and metropolitan roads, loading/unloading (by hand and/or forklift), providing exceptional customer service and pick up of materials from suppliers when needed.
The role will involve vehicle maintenance and cleanliness as well as assisting our Manufacturing and Dispatch teams on site when time allows.
Hours
Monday - Thursday 7.15am - 4.30pm
Friday 7.15am - 12 noon
Vehicle Type
Modern Automatic Hino Flat Bed single axle truck (8 mtrs long), with or without a 6 mtr flat bed trailer.
Reach
Travelling around Central Victoria, Southern NSW & metropolitan Melbourne.
About you:
You will have - A good level of Physical fitness and Strength as there will be times where you will need to hand unload on site.
You will have - A positive, team oriented attitude and mindset with a willingness to adapt to changing demands when required
You will be - Well presented and have strong communication and customer service skills
You will have - The ability to work independently, confidently follow laid out delivery runs and adapt to changing traffic conditions and adjustments to runs when requested.
You will have - Mechanical knowledge/understanding of how the vehicle works and how to perform basic maintenance
You will be - Committed to upholding our safety standards & following road rules
You will have - A history of reliability that can be substantiated by 2 relevant references

The successful candidate may be required to undergo a pre-employment medical including Drug & Alcohol screening and agree to a National Criminal History Check.
Australian work authorisation is required for this position.
Qualifications
* Valid MR Truck & Forklift licences
* A forklift licence is required to commence this position
* 5+ years of work experience with Truck Driving
* Be willing to supply an up to date Driver History report from Vicroads
* Previous experience in a similar role or within the manufacturing industry is a plus
