About the Role
Reporting directly to theDockside Café Manager, you'll work alongside our talented chef to learn every aspect of a busy café kitchen — from food preparation and plating to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation.
You'll gain hands-on experience in:
Preparing and presenting café-style meals and specials
Learning food safety, hygiene, and storage procedures
Assisting with stock rotation and ordering
Supporting daily service for breakfast and lunch
Contributing to a positive, team-focused environment
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
Passionate about food and eager to learn
Reliable, punctual, and takes pride in their work
Able to work well in a fast-paced team environment
Ready to undertake a Certificate I or II or III in Commercial Cookery
