Senior Network Engineer Position
We are seeking an accomplished Senior Network Engineer to join our Infrastructure Team. This critical role is responsible for ensuring our networks are secure, stable, resilient, and reliable.
This includes ongoing collaboration with our Corporate Systems team. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to enhance their skills by joining a team of talented professionals.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience integrating networks in virtualised environments, preferably VMware. They will also be proficient in provisioning and managing network infrastructure using code and automation.
Key responsibilities include leading the team in planning, designing, and implementing network infrastructure projects, evaluating new technologies, and developing and maintaining network diagrams and standards.
Additionally, the successful candidate will conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments, monitor network performance, and troubleshoot complex network problems.
They will also possess excellent communication, documentation, and customer service skills, with a strong attention to detail and a positive attitude.

Key Skills and Experience:
* CCIE, CCNP, or equivalent networking certification(s)
* 5+ years of experience as a Network Engineer
* Extensive experience integrating networks in virtualised environments, preferably VMware
* Proficient in provisioning and management of network infrastructure using code and automation
* Deep understanding of network layer security concerns and mitigations
* Expert knowledge of TCP/IP networking protocols, routing protocols, and switching technologies
* Excellent communication, documentation, and customer service skills
* A positive and enthusiastic attitude with a genuine interest in improving systems
