I am looking to speak to experienced Accounts Officers who are looking to join a business where they can take ownership of the accounting functions!
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately process daily invoices and purchase orders
- Manage accounts payable and receivable transactions
- Prepare and process payments to suppliers and follow up with debtors and resolve any queries
- Reconcile bank statements with the general ledger
- Process payroll, including superannuation, leave accruals, and associated payroll matters
- Prepare and lodge BAS statements, ensuring full compliance
- Assist with monthly and annual financial reporting
Skills & Competencies
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in an accounts officer or similar finance role
- Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical accuracy
- Confident communicator
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team
