Grounds & Maintenance Attendant
A leading company is seeking a Grounds & Maintenance Attendant for its Karratha park. This full-time entry-level role involves ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of the park, performing maintenance tasks, handling groundskeeping equipment, and contributing to a safe and healthy work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of the park through regular cleaning schedules and routine maintenance tasks;
* Perform groundskeeping duties, including mowing, pruning, and weeding, as well as other outdoor maintenance tasks;
* Handle and maintain equipment, such as lawnmowers and pruners, in good working condition;
* Identify and report any damage or safety hazards within the park area.
Requirements:
* Current driver's licence;
* High school diploma or equivalent;
* 1-2 years of experience in maintenance or groundskeeping roles (desired but not essential);
* Ability to lift up to 25 kg and perform manual labor for extended periods;
* Strong communication skills and attention to detail;
* Adaptability to changing priorities and seasonal workload demands.
