Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Mechanical Designer for our Drafting & Engineering team in Toowoomba, Queensland.
About the role:
* Predominantly using Inventor, VAULT, and AutoCAD
* Translating concept designs to detailed designs for internal and external projects
* Maintenance of design records and maintenance of records and documentation
* Completion of shop floor drawings on an as needs basis
* Projects include agricultural, commercial storage and handling, feedlots, mining and plastics
* You will work to support our Estimating, Manufacturing and Project Management teams
Selection criteria for this role includes:
* Trade qualifications and/or degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline
* Working knowledge and experience in a Mechanical Design
* Working knowledge of the Australian Standards
* Must have a focus on problem solving, precision, durability and innovation
* Strong working knowledge of Autodesk Inventor
* Strong written, verbal communication, analytical and organisational skills
* Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment
