We are currently partnering with State Government departments who are seeking experienced Project Engineers to assist in the delivery of electrical asset management projects across Adelaide. This contract is starting at 6 months with a potential to extend further.
The Role
Your position in these well supported teams will be to manage a full range of electrical projects, encompassing the following tasks:
* Review asset and defect data to develop packages of prioritised work.
* Work with Assets comprising road lighting, traffic signals and Intelligent Transport Systems on state main roads.
* Prepare work orders for delivery of asset renewal works by the maintenance contractors.
* Monitor progress of work orders and verification at completion.
* Review project handover asset documentation for completeness.
* Proficiency with Microsoft software and particularly Excel and Outlook and GIS based asset information systems.
Skills & Experience
In order to be considered for these positions you will need the following skills and experience:
* Qualifications in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
* Knowledge of general conditions of contract management.
* Previous Government experience is highly desirable.
* Excellent verbal, written and communication skills.
* Knowledge of Project Management principles in a electrical infrastructure space.
* Current National Police Clearance.
