About the Role
Digital Communications Officer who creates engaging and informative content that communicates the priorities and strategic vision of Southern Adelaide Local Health Network (SALHN). The role involves video production, animation, photography, and quality control of all digital productions across social media, e-newsletters, websites, digital advertising, and visual displays.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high‐quality, scroll‐stopping content including innovative videos, animations, photography, and assets for online and social media.
- Prepare storyboard concepts and graphics for video production and animations that are engaging, relevant, and meaningful to SALHN audiences.
- Utilise and leverage live streaming across digital platforms (social media and YouTube) to boost SALHN's profile and brand.
- Operate independently to direct, film, record audio, and edit video content of high quality.
- Collaborate with the broader team to design digital campaigns and produce assets for social media, e‐newsletters, websites, and digital advertising.
- Stay abreast of latest trends in digital communications and provide recommendations and advice on best practice to the Corporate Communications team.
- Manage sometimes significant volumes of workload, prioritising tasks and deadlines in collaboration with the communications team.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of proven experience in video production and photography for social media and digital platforms.
- Track record of supporting digital communication strategies, campaign delivery, design, and content production.
- Demonstrated experience using camera and video equipment and editing programs to shoot and edit innovative content that creates impactful visual communications.
- Proficiency with common platforms, systems, and software used for digital delivery, including Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience operating, installing, and maintaining technical and audio‐visual equipment.
- Strong creative vision and understanding of visual storytelling.
- Ability to interpret briefs in the most appropriate creative and technical manner to meet the brief and client expectations.
- Flexibility in organising filming and editing schedules.
