Performatec is looking for a Parts Sales & Customer Support team member to join our growing business. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to build a long-term career in a stable, well-established company supplying quality machinery and spare parts to industrial customers across Australia.
In this role, you will be the first point of contact for spare parts enquiries, helping customers identify the right parts, preparing quotes, processing orders, and making sure follow-up happens promptly and professionally. You'll work with a supportive team, learn our products, and play an important role in delivering the high level of service Performatec is known for.
This role would suit someone with strong attention to detail, a customer-first attitude, and an interest in machinery, technical products, or industrial equipment. Experience is valuable, but attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn are just as important.
Key Responsibilities
* Responding to spare parts enquiries by phone and email
* Preparing quotes for new and existing customers
* Following up quotations to convert them into sales
* Providing accurate pricing, lead times, and product information
* Processing sales orders accurately and efficiently
* Liaising with suppliers regarding availability, freight, and delivery timelines
* Researching parts, cross-referencing manuals, and identifying correct components
* Maintaining organized records of quotes, orders, and customer communications
* Assisting with returns, credits, and warranty-related parts processes
* Supporting the Parts BDM with day-to-day administration and customer follow-up
* Escalating urgent customer issues or delays when needed

Experience
Experience in any of the following would be an advantage:
* machinery or industrial equipment
* automotive or mechanical parts
* technical customer service
* internal sales or trade sales
