About the RoleDarebin's People & Culture function brings together five key areas for strategic impact, these are Culture & Capability; Business Partnering & People Practices; Payroll; and Health, Safety and Wellbeing.
This position works across the People & Culture function, seeking input, sharing ideas and providing strategic input into People & Culture priorities to ensure the delivery of Darebin's People Strategy.
The position leads the provision of accurate and timely advice and consultancy services to Council's leaders and staff. Leading a team of hands-on People & Culture generalists, the position makes a significant contribution to a broad range of activities, embracing workforce planning and job design, performance and capability, people management, employee relations and industrial relations and engagement and change in support of the organisation's culture, goals and objectives.
Skills & ExperienceYou will have a tertiary qualification in human resources or industrial relations, teamed with demonstrated experience in managing a business partnering team and experience in managing enterprise agreement bargaining processes in a complex environment.
