What you'll do
Reporting to the Executive Director, System Strategy Branch, you will provide timely, strategic, complete, succinct, accurate advice to support the Executive Director and the Branch leadership team, in the identification, management and resolution of key issues including policy, planning, human resource, financial and operational issues arising from or impacting on the Branch.
About you
We are searching for someone with:
High level project management skills and experience with a record of planning and managing concurrent projects, competing priorities, meeting deliverables, managing risk, and delivering outputs and business benefits.
Highly effective written and verbal communication skills including demonstrated ability to consult, negotiate and influence staff at all levels and provide authoritative advice in a public sector environment to senior management on a range of organisational issues, and the ability to prepare complex submissions, briefings, reports, as well as complex and routine correspondence.
Demonstrated stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise, mediate and negotiate with all levels of staff and with a range of stakeholders in a sensitive and confidential manner, achieving the desired outcome and building relationships.
High level problem solving and issue management skills and capacity to analyses and integrate information from diverse sources.
Demonstrated ability to develop, implement and manage organisational change and organisational effectiveness initiatives either independently, or as a component of a broader project.
Demonstrated ability to lead a team, including to prioritise and manage competing demands to deliver key projects in line with quality human resources, performance reporting, financial management principles and practices.
